An accident on the A14 this morning (Tuesday) left commuters stuck in traffic for several hours.
Cambridgeshire police were called at 7am to reports of a collision involving two lorries heading towards Alconbury on the A14, near the Spittals Interchange.
The road was closed at 8.30am at Godmanchester whilst recovery of the stricken vehicles took place and was reopened at 10.10am.
No injuries were reported.
Highways England said on Twitter: “All lanes open and collision cleared on the A14 westbound between J24 and J23 Spittals. Long delays remain however so allow extra journey time if travelling in this direction. Have a safe journey.”
