The A1(M) has reopened after being closed northbound near Sawtry this afternoon following an accident involving a number of vehicles.
Queues stretched back to Alconbury after the smash which happened at about 2pm today (Thursday).
The route was shut and traffic was diverted along the B1043, which was also heavily congested.
It was reopened after about an hour but long delays remained.
