The A1 northbound carriageway has been blocked following an accident involving a lorry and two vans.

Cambridgeshire police were called to the incident at Diddington at 2.11pm today (Monday) following reports of the collision between the HGV and two vans.

Crews from Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service were called to the scene along with East of England Ambulance Service.

A spokesman for the ambulance service said: “Three patients were treated at the scene, who were the drivers of each vehicle, and were not taken to hospital.”

Motorists were advised to avoid the area as queues were tailing back to Little Paxton.
