A CAR has crashed into the central reservation on the A1 blocking both lanes of the northbound carriageway.
Nobody was injured in the accident which happened shortly before 11.25am today (Wednesday) just after the Hail Weston junction. Two cars are believed to be involved in the incident.
Police officers have called for the Highways Agency to attend as fuel has leaked onto the road.
The road is expected to reopen at 1.15pm.
