An outdoor gym was officially opened at Alconbury surgery on January 21, thanks to a national lottery grant.
The equipment, which was sourced by members of the parish council, was provided after the council received money from the Big Lottery Fund.
Residents and parish council members gathered at the surgery to see Dr Malav Bhimpuria, from Alconbury surgery, declare the equipment open to the public.
Councillor Chris Bodley, vice-chairman of the parish council, thanked Dr Bhimpuria and also fellow parish councillor, Councillor Judith Aylott for her efforts in organising delivery of the equipment.
“We hope the outdoor gym will be well received by the residents and will be in constant use by all in the village,” said Cllr Bodley.
