THIEVES took around £70,000 of coffee from a lorry at Brampton Hut last Wednesday (April 18).

The driver returned to the lorry, parked close to the BP garage, and found the curtains had been slashed and five pallets of coffee capsules had been stolen overnight between 10.30pm on the Wednesday and 6.30am the following day.

DC Neil Gibbs said: “Those involved would have needed a vehicle and it would have taken some time to load the stolen coffee.

“I would like to hear from anyone who visited Brampton Hut late Wednesday or early the following morning and witnessed anything suspicious or saw those responsible for this theft.”

INFORMATION: Anyone with information should contact DC Gibbs at Huntingdon Police Station on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
