Police have confirmed that a 67 year-old man died in Somersham yesterday afternoon (Monday).
A spokesman said officers were called – along with paramedics – at 12.40pm to reports that a Vauxhall Frontera had left the road at Warner’s Drove.
He added that the driver, Colin Ayres, of Warner’s Drove, was pronounced dead at the scene.
An investigation into the cause of death will be carried out by the coroner.
