THE Conservative Party has held the South Cambridgeshire seat.
Andrew Lansley retained his seat with 27,995 votes, with Liberal Democrat candidate Sebastian Kindersley in second place with 20,157 votes.
Labour's Tariq Sadiq was a distant third with 6,024 votes, with Independent Robin Page polling 1,968 votes.
UKIP candidate Helene Davies-Green polled 1,873 votes and Green Party candidate Simon Saggers polled 1,039 votes.
Mr Lansley's win, however, was a 2.5 per cent swing to the Liberal Democrats.
