A Huntingdonshire pub has reopened with a fresh new look, but with the same friendly atmosphere after a three-week refurbishment.
The Haywain in St Ives, part of the Sizzling Pubs group, has undergone a top-to-bottom revamp, complete with a brighter bar area, fresh new furnishings, and an even comfier dining space.
The reopened pub on Constable Road has reopened with a brighter bar, new furnishings and a reworked dining area designed to make it more comfortable for families and groups.
Operators say the refreshed layout is aimed at making the pub suitable for everything from midweek meals to Sunday roasts.
Alongside the refurbishment, the venue is continuing to offer national chain deals, including kids eating for £1 between 3pm and 7pm Monday to Friday.
The menu features dishes such as the Dirty Clucker, Crispy Sweet Chilli Chicken and a Pork Tomahawk, with desserts including a caramelised waffle.
General manager Liam Johnson said: “We couldn’t be more excited to show off the pub’s new look. It’s been amazing seeing guests walk in and instantly feel at home.
"Whether you're popping in to watch the big game, grabbing a bite with the kids, or just catching up over a drink, we’ve kept everything you love about the place with a bit of extra sizzle.”
The Haywain will continue to show live sport and run regular events, including a pub quiz every Monday at 8pm and bingo and poker on Thursdays from 5pm.Further details and booking information are available via the pub’s website.
