A choir is preparing for a fundraising concert in support of unpaid carers.
The St Ives Community Choir will host its Summer Concert on Saturday, 4 July, at St Ives Free Church, raising funds for Caring Together, a charity supporting unpaid carers across Cambridgeshire, Peterborough and Norfolk.
Hazel Shah, musical director of St Ives Community Choir, said: "Alongside making music, the choir is passionate about supporting local good causes.
"Every concert is held in aid of charity, and over the years the choir has raised funds for a range of organisations serving the local community.
"This summer, the choir is delighted to be partnering with Caring Together, helping to raise awareness and support for unpaid carers across Cambridgeshire."
The concert will feature a mix of songs from musicals such as The Lion King, Grease and Dirty Dancing, as well as hits from The Beatles.
Lynnette Ballantyne, community fundraiser at Caring Together, said: "We're super excited for this event.
"We are thrilled that St Ives Community Choir chose to raise funds for Caring Together through their summer concert."
