Pupils were showered in colour during a 3km run designed to promote wellbeing.
Year 7 students from St Ivo and Cottenham Village College in Cambridgeshire took part in the Schools Colour Run, held at Milton Country Park just outside Cambridge.
They joined more than 500 children aged 11 and 12 from 28 schools across the county for the annual event, which aims to encourage physical activity and support good health and happiness.
Hanan McKeand, interim principal at CVC, said: "This was a brilliant day for our students to attend and I know they had lots of fun.
"This event was an excellent opportunity for our students to build resilience, team building and confidence and I am delighted they got so much out of the day."
Participants raced through a 3km course while being covered in colourful, washable paint powder.
The event included a dedicated activity village where students could try rock climbing, inflatables, archery, smoothie-making, and laser tag.
Organised by Living Sport, the Colour Run forms part of wider efforts to promote physical activity and wellbeing.
