There is potentially a "greater risk to life for vulnerable people" in Cambridgeshire as cold health alerts have been issued across the country.
The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) has issued a yellow cold health alert for many parts of England, mainly in the north and central areas.
The East of England, including Cambridgeshire, has not been issued an alert.
However, the authority has said that there is potential for minor impacts across health and social care services in the county as a result of the colder weather.
It states that impacts could be: "Increased use of healthcare services by vulnerable people, greater risk to life of vulnerable people, and increased potential for indoor environments to become very warm."
The authority has said people should not expect the impact, but to be mindful of the potential of it.
