Mayor of Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Paul Bristow says so many people have pride in the places they live.
With Christmas upon us, I want to extend my warmest wishes to all the wonderful and inspiring communities of Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.
Whether this period is filled with cherished traditions, quiet moments of reflection, or just a chance to recharge, I hope it brings warmth and joy to your home.
It has been a busy few months as mayor, but what has stood out in my visits up and down Cambridgeshire is the pride so many have in their places and their communities. I’ve spoken to volunteer groups, charities, public services leaders and businesses.
They are all working tirelessly to help others and keep our region thriving, reminding us that our greatest strength lies in our people.
As we look ahead to 2026, I hope we can carry forward the kindness and spirit shown this year. I am committed to continuing to build a region where every resident feels supported, valued, and proud to belong.
