A Huntingdon-based radio station has had its broadcast licence extended until 2031.
This means the station, which has undergone a major rebrand, can continue broadcasting 24/7 for a further five years.
It follows a successful application to Ofcom and comes as the station accelerates plans to expand its reach across the Ouse Valley.
The achievement comes amid a period of "significant organisational challenge and transition", including the departure of several members.
Formerly HCR104fm, the station relaunched as Ouse Valley Radio on November 1, marking an exciting new chapter in its future.
The station is set to strengthen its community-focused programming, foster local partnerships, and provide a platform for local voices, stories and initiatives.
A spokesperson for the station's board of directors said the licence extension is a "testament to the dedication, professionalism and resilience of team members and volunteers".
“We are delighted to have our future secured for another five years," they added.
"Our focus remains firmly on serving, supporting, and giving back to the local community with truly local radio that informs, entertains, and connects people across the Ouse Valley."
Ouse Valley Radio is the only local radio station designed for the Huntingdonshire section of the Ouse Valley that broadcasts on FM.
It is also available via its mobile app, online, and on smart speakers, ensuring listeners can stay connected wherever they are
