Cambridgeshire Oddfellows is inviting people to make new friends at its special taster events.
The society is hosting events throughout September as part of its annual Friendship Month celebrations.
The activities in Huntingdon and Cambridge include two free afternoon teas with games and a painting session led by an expert.
These are in addition to the society's regular monthly meetups in Cambridge, Ely, Huntingdon, and Royston.
Linda Miller, branch secretary for Cambridge Oddfellows, said: "Trying new activities inevitably puts us in situations where we might feel uncomfortable or a little out of place – but that's all part of the experience.
"Saying 'yes' to giving something new a try, especially a shared experience, has so many rewards, especially for wellbeing."
Cambridge Oddfellows has been promoting the formation of supportive friendships through its Friendship Month since 2010.

The first afternoon tea and games event will take place on September 11 at Cambridge's Ex-Services Social Club, Barnwell Drive.
The second is being held on September 25 at Huntingdon's Trinity Free Church in Buttsgrove Way.
The sip and paint social, led by professional artist Sarah Peters, will occur on September 18 at Cambridge's Ex-Services Social Club.
Christine Fuff, a member for more than a year, said: "I am a fairly new member, but have felt welcomed from my very first meet-up.
"I mostly enjoy meeting new friends and having nice things to fill up my diary with."
Cambridge Oddfellows is one of 96 branches of the Oddfellows, one of the oldest and largest friendly societies in the UK, aiming to improve its members' lives through friendship and support.
