Little Paxton’s annual village fete and dog show will take place this weekend.

The event on the QEII Playing Field on July 12 is a family-friendly music festival which includes stalls, attractions and a dog show.

There is musical entertainment from midday until 5.15pm with performances from the Bedford Pipe band, Dewey School of Dance, Somersham Town Band and more.

Child friendly attractions are also available and this includes such as Circus Avago where youngsters can test out skills such as walking the tightrope. 

The Mr Marvel Magic Show starts at 2pm and the Animal Edge petting zoo, which includes ponies, chickens, goats and donkeys will be available all afternoon.

The Fun Dog show classes are open to all dogs and start at 1pm with 12 classes and a championship class.

Admission is available on the day and costs £1.50 per class some. Classes include: Scruffiest Scamp, Children’s Handling, and Puppies under 1 year.

There will also be multiple stalls, a beer tent, barbecue, refreshments, games and face- painting.
