A viral gamer from Huntingdonshire is set to go live 12 hours a day for a week to raise money for her sister's wedding after a "horrifying" attack left her with brain damage.

Lauren Garnett - aka Dungeon Diva - is a content creator from Brampton who streams on Twitch and TikTok, and regularly posts on Instagram.

Several years ago, her younger sister Dionne was attacked by a group of men in an incident that left her with brain damage, PTSD and ME.

Dionne, now 28, has since struggled with chronic fatigue and can only work part-time.

"After she told me they might have to cancel the wedding due to financial strain, I told her, as her big sister, absolutely not," said Lauren, who is 30-years-old.

Lauren has since decided that, for all of 2025, every penny she earns from content creation is going towards her sister's wedding.

"So far I’ve paid for her dress and saved £600, but we’re still trying to cover things like the photographer, cake, part of the venue and, hopefully, a well deserved hen do."

With this in mind, Lauren has launched a fundraising event called a Tip-A-Thon, running from July 7 to 11 to further boost funds.

"The Tip-A-Thon itself is a live streamed fundraising marathon," explains Lauren.

"Every donation extends the stream time (e.g. a £3 tip adds 30–60 minutes).

"I’ll be live 12 hours a day for five days straight, finishing on July 11, which is my sister and her fiancé’s 14-year anniversary."

Lauren added: "Subscriptions to my Twitch channel also count as donations and will help fund this wedding that means so much to her, especially after everything she’s been through."
