Fire crews were called to a vehicle blaze on the A1(M).
When teams from Huntingdon and Stanground arrived at the scene on June 17, near Sawtry, they found a van on fire.
A spokesperson for Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "At 9.31am on Tuesday (June 17) crews from Huntingdon and Stanground were called to a fire on the A1.
"Firefighters arrived to find a van on fire on the southbound carriageway near Sawtry.
"Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using hose reels and returned to their stations by 11am.
"The cause of the fire was accidental."
