The Eurovision Song Contest is back for another year, and since it’s taking place in Switzerland, you might wonder how you can tune in to the final from the UK.
This year’s contest is taking place in Basel and co-hosts Hazel Brugger and Sandra Studer sang about Swiss-made products and how the country hosted the first Eurovision in Lugano in 1956, before some of the finalists were announced on Tuesday, May 13.
Switzerland is living up to its stereotype by delivering a “beautifully organised” Eurovision Song Contest, the director of the event has said.
Basel is hosting the 2025 contest after Switzerland’s Nemo won last May in Sweden with The Code, which explored them coming to terms with their non-binary identity.
Who is the UK Eurovision act 2025?
Remember Monday is made up of three members - Charlotte Steele, Lauren Byrne and Holly-Anne Hull - and they will represent the UK in this year’s Eurovision Song Contest.
The girl group, who met at sixth form and are best friends, will perform on Thursday and hope to impress enough to secure themselves a space in the final.
When the group take to the stage at this week’s Eurovision Song Contest, it will be the first time in nearly a decade that the country has not been represented by a solo act, plus the first time since 1999 that it has sent an all-female group.
Remember Monday will perform their song What The Hell Just Happened? at Basel’s St. Jakobshalle Arena.
Who are the Eurovision presenters for 2025?
Stand-up comedian and presenter Hazel Brugger, media personality Michelle Hunziker and presenter, actress and singer Sandra Studer will present Eurovision together this year.
All three of the presenters will host the Grand Final while Brugger and Studer will present the second Semi-Final, having also presented the first.
