Two DJs are getting ready to spin some vinyl records to help fundraise for their radio station as well as a local charity.
Black Cat Radio's Ste Greenall and Nigel Pauley hit the airwaves in St Neots on the Full English Breakfast Show and the Your Voice show.
However, the pair are "dusting off their vinyl records" so they can DJ at a Boogie Nights and Vinyl Vibes night, held by the women's group, Purple Horizons.
Fellow Black Cat Radio presenter, Dave Wiltsher, has refurbished his old disco decks for the occasion - which have not been used for 30 years.
The group host occasions in aid of local charities, and this event will fundraise for Black Cat Community Radio as well as The 3 Pillars - Feeding the Homeless charity, which was founded by Ged Dempsey and Mick Pescod.
Ste said that he and Nigel "jumped at the chance" to join in with the event.
He added: "We are thrilled that Purple Horizons are going to split the money raised between the radio station and The 3 Pillars, which is a charity close to the hearts of us all."
The nostalgic night will be at the ground floor of the Citizens Hub, at 58 Market Square in St Neots.
Tim and Caroline Richardson, who founded All About Soul - which is based at the Citizens Hub, will be operating a paid bar.
Pizza will also be on offer for anyone who needs to keep their energy up while they dance the night away.
The event will run from 7.30pm until 11.30pm on Friday, March 28. Tickets cost £7.50 and must be purchased in advance which you can get by emailing: purplehorizons2019@icloud.com or via their website.
