Huntingdon Town Council is set to host an International Women's Day event.
This follows the success of last year's inaugural talk and will take place in Huntingdon on March 7.
The focus of this year's event, organised in collaboration with the Huntingdon and Peterborough Federation of WIs (HPFWI), will be on the significance of women as volunteers and their impact on communities.
Anna Bradley Doorman, a representative from the WI, will be the keynote speaker.
She will be followed by a panel discussion featuring Councillor Amanda Norton from Huntingdon Town Council and Judith Barrass from Huntingdon Community Radio’s 21st Century Women.

Councillor Karl Brockett, the mayor of Huntingdon, said: "Huntingdon Town Council is proud to support this event, which not only highlights the power of women as volunteers but also aligns with our commitment to fostering inclusion, empowerment, and positive change locally."
