HCR104fm community radio station is more than just a platform for music and talk - it’s a unifying force bringing neighbours, friends, and local talent together.
As it begins another year of broadcasting, HCR104fm continues to thrive as a beacon of community connection and creativity.
HCR104fm isn’t just about music - it has a mission to amplify local voices. It’s an open platform for local people to share their stories, passions, and talents.
From showcasing up-and-coming musicians on our Spotlight show on Friday evenings, to airing interviews with community leaders, local groups and charities on the community access program Over to You, the station keeps its programming as diverse as Huntingdonshire itself.
The station is very proud that during 2024, more than 150 local groups were supported by appearing on the show - a considerable achievement!

Looking Ahead
HCR104fm has plans to expand its community presence with improved outside broadcasting endeavors during 2025 and it continues to improve its online streaming platform to reach wider audiences.
“We’re always finding new ways to connect with listeners,” says Tony Obee, the station’s music and programming director, “but staying true to our community remains our priority.”
