The Mayor and Mayoress of Huntingdon, Cllr Karl Brockett and Julie Brockett, have written a Christmas Message for The Hunts Post.
The Mayor and Mayoress of Huntingdon are both delighted to be asked to write a piece for The Hunts Post for the Christmas publication.
We have been working with our community and residents to help us all be more involved and inclusive to share our positive energy and enthusiasm for supporting our local charities.
We are raising awareness of how important our town is to be a part of, and the amazing spirit and passion we have.
Let’s make this Christmas one to remember, filled with joy and family and friends and making special memories.
Remember that we always need to give each other a kind word and a helping hand, and people who are struggling to have someone who can be there for them.
I’m incredibly grateful for all the support and encouragement that we have received over the year and the amazing volunteer work that has been done for our community and the way people have dedicated their passion and energy towards our lives.
Your commitment to our town is what truly makes Huntingdonshire such an incredible place to be able to make us all proud.
A special thanks to our wonderful town council members and all the staff and community leaders who have been so much of our dedicated workforce.
Wishing you all a very happy Christmas and a wonderful new year ahead.
Here’s to another wonderful year ahead and full of compassion and community kindness to each other and I hope to see you all soon.
Stay safe and healthy and always remember to take care of yourself and others around you.
