A Huntingdon dink driver who was almost three times the legal limit claimed he had only drunk ‘one glass of wine’ despite being unable to stay in his lane, unable to open the window or put the handbrake on.
Mehmet Durgut, 49, of Market Hill, Huntingdon, was charged with driving while above the legal alcohol limit in Primrose Lane, Huntingdon, on Wednesday September 4.
He is due to appear at Cambridge Magistrates’ Court on Thursday September 26.
