A woman has been hospitalised after a crash on a main road in Huntingdon this morning (August 13).
At around 7:40am Cambridgeshire Police received reports that a car had crashed into a lamppost on Brampton Road in Huntingdon.
They arrived at the scene and the driver, a woman driving a Volkswagen Tiguan, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The road remains closed.
A spokesperson for Cambridgeshire Police said: "No other vehicles are believed to have been involved."
