A charity event was held on Sunday August 4 for the local community to watch Peterborough United play Huntingdon United at Jubilee Park.
Mayor of Huntingdon, Cllr Karl Brockett, attended and said: "A great turn out made the day really special and we had a lot of success to bring the best of the teams involved.
"A positive impact was made, so thanks to Huntingdon Football Club Town and Peterborough United supporters who helped us make the difference to the game.
"We are proud to be part of the incredible initiative of putting together this event.
"Gary Jolly and Richard Maxwell, chairman of Huntingdon Town Football Club, were both brilliant in working together to ensure we had an amazing experience for everyone.
"And some money was raised for the mayor's charity and the local football club.
"Thank you to all the people who attended, including local residents and councillors, and gave us the best event possible."
