An upcoming festival has revealed an impressive entertainment line-up set to include big names in music, comedy and film.

Six weeks out from the festivities, the Cambridge Club Festival has released its programming for the weekend-long June event.

Attendees can look forward to a broad variety of dance, disco and discovery from Friday, June 7 through to Sunday, June 9 2024 on-site at Childerley Orchard.

The line-up boasts fan-favourite musicians and a new addition for this year: an on-site cinema showcasing classic American films in partnership with Visit the USA.

Fans will recognise well-known industry names including Chaka Khan, Jessie Ware, Earth Wind & Fire Experience by Al Mckay, D-Train, Gabrielle, Incognito, Melanie C, Natasha Bedingfield, Rebecca Ferguson, Sister Sledge, Soul II Soul and The Family Stone who are all set to perform on one of the festival's three stages.

The laughter is set to commence on Saturday, June 8 with critically acclaimed comedian Zoe Lyons.

Alongside Lyons, audiences will see Canadian stand-up Tom Stade, Irish comedian of the year runner-up Ryan Cullen, and comedian, actor, writer, director, presenter, singer and circus boy Andre Vincent, offering his multi-talented performing arts expertise to the line-up.

Sunday, June 9 continues the comedy trend with renowned artist Marcus Brigstocke, best recognised for his acclaimed, satirical BBC Radio 4 program 'The Now Show'.

Additionally, Emmanuel Sonubi, Paul Tonkinson, Carey Marx and John Fothergill are each promising to deliver an act filled with punchlines and anecdotes to have audiences roaring with laughter.

Head of marketing at The Cambridge Club Festival, Sam Mellor said: “Obviously, music is hugely important to us, but it's just one part of the festival.

"We want to offer a wider, more diverse and immersive weekend that interests everyone – so it's great to be able to announce these additional entertainment areas."

Within the festival’s Orchard area, the on-site cinema is a fresh addition to the weekend’s line-up.

Festivalgoers can look forward to classic American films, a perfect respite from dancing.

Movies will showcase the stunning geography and iconic places of the USA, with films curated by Visit The USA.

Audiences are currently invited to vote for their top 10 choices from a list of well known and loved films.

The festival continues to embrace family-friendly entertainment, with a wide range of events planned for all ages at The Imagination Station – presented by Tootles + Nibs.

Located within the enchanting Childerley Orchard, The Imagination Station is curated with games, activities, theatre, competitions, team sports, circus, crafts, music, and dancing.

From Frisbee Golf to Dodgeball and Space Hopper Racing, children and families can partake in an array of adventurous activities.

A Bedtime Rave, Crafty Creations, artistic classes and street football are also on offer.

Mr Mellor states: “Being family-friendly is crucial for The Cambridge Club; we want to make sure there’s something for the little ones to do when the grown-ups are dancing.

"Plus, some of the country's leading comedians, and an amazing new cinema activation with Visit The USA, screening some of the most iconic films.

“We're super excited for all of it and can't wait to welcome everyone in just a few weeks’ time.”

Tickets remain available, with weekend and day passes starting at £50.
