A play all about alcohol awareness will be paying a visit to St Peter's School in Huntingdon to educate pupils.

'Smashed' is a 25 minute performance about the dangers of underage drinking.

The performance aims to help students understand the facts, causes and consequences of underage drinking, as well as to drive down alcohol consumption. 

After the play, there will eb a 35 minute workshop for students to take part in, which will give them the chance to reflect on the themes of the performance and answer questions about the choices made my characters in the performance.

'Smashed' will be visiting St Peter's School on March 12.

The production is a collaboration between Collingwood Learning and Diageo, and will be visiting schools across Cambridgeshire.

83 per cent of students that have seen 'Smashed' said that they now feel equipped to make the right choices when it comes to drinking alcohol. 

74 per cent of viewers said that they were less likely to drink alcohol underage after they watched the production of 'Smashed' in school.
