The woman, who is in her 40s, was found in a ditch in Beach Road, Cottenham, at just after midnight on Monday, 12 February, after going out for a walk at about 6pm that evening.

She remains in hospital in a life threatening condition, and Cambridgeshire Police are now re-appealing for information on the incident.

“If you have dashcam footage, even if it doesn’t appear to show anything, this could be really helpful in enabling us to pinpoint the time the collision took place. Any information you have, no matter how small, could be crucial to our investigation."
