Huntingdonshire District Council will host a Community Tree Planting Day in collaboration with Wild About Huntingdon, at Sapley Playing Field on February 15, from 10am - 2pm.
420 whips, which are tree roots, are set to be planted at Sapley Playing Field on the day.
Some of the whips will be hazel and hawthorn, and will grow as habitats for Huntingdon wildlife, as well as creating a lovely landscape.
The Tree Planting Day aims to enhance the environment in Huntingdon, as well as the promote biodiversity.
The Community Tree Planting will be sponsored by Huntingdonshire District Council.
Wild About Huntingdon is also encouraging residents to join in with the planting so they can enjoy Huntingdon's environment.

Executive Councillor for Leisure, Waste and Street Scene, Cllr Simone Taylor, said: "Initiatives like this Community Tree Planting Day are a great opportunity for our residents and communities to shape their environment.
"The planting will not only contribute to increased biodiversity on site but also bring our communities together to leave a legacy for future families of Huntingdonshire."
