A team of engineers from OHEAP Fire and Security gave young patients on Hinchingbrooke Hospital's children's ward a sweet surprise on Monday (January 29).
The engineers were at Hinchingbrooke Hospital for four days while they upgraded alarms and smoke detectors.
While they were there, the team decided to surprise the children on the ward by dressing up as superheroes and handing out goodie bags to them.

Children on the Hinchingbrooke ward got to meet Batman, Superman and Mr Incredible while eating Milky Bars, Kinder Bars and Trolli sweets from their goodie bags, which were hand-delivered by the superheroes.
The engineers put together 70 goodie bags and even came back from their breaks early to hand out the bags to children who had come out of surgery.
The OHEAP team also installed a new visual indicator that will alert people to an emergency evacuation in the hospital by using strobe lighting.
The upgrades and installations are part of a North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust-wide project, which will see work carried out in all of its hospitals.
