The Ramsey Rural museum has a packed calendar of events planned for 2024.

The museum is set on the edge Ramsey and its collection covers the social history of Ramsey and the surrounding area, concentrating on the period 1800 to 2000 AD.

The museum is open for visitors on Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays from April to October, from 2pm-5pm

There are also lots of public events throughout the year and here is a preview so you can make sure not to miss out.

The museum opens on March 30 after the winter closure period. 

April 7: Ramsey Heritage Day and Food and Craft Fair.

May 18/19: The Ramsey Fen Fair.

June 20-24: The Ford Corsairs Owner's Club.

July and August: A series of talks by the museum's archive team. Dates and topics to be confirmed so keep check the museum's website at: www.ramseyruralmuseum.co.uk.

July 6/7: The Ramsey Fire and Steam Show.

July 13: Ramsey Carnival.

July 27: The Ramsey and District Horticultural Society Annual Show.

August 17/18 1940’s Weekend.

September (Date to be confirmed) National Heritage Day and Food and Craft Fair.

September 29: Plough Day and Country Fair.

October 28: Museum closes for the season.
