St Ives wine shop J Wadsworth Ltd is to close after more than 150 years in Huntingdonshire.
One of Huntingdonshire's oldest shops is to close.
Wine shop J Wadsworth Ltd has been at the heart of St Ives for more than 150 years.
However, in a post on the company’s Facebook page, the business announced that it is shutting due “increasingly tough market conditions.”
The post adds: “We have taken the incredibly difficult decision to close the shop permanently after more than 150 years of trading in the town.
“We would like to thank all our customers over the years for their loyal support.
“We will be continuing to open on Fridays and Saturdays for the foreseeable future, and will be having a closing-down sale starting Friday January 26.
“Further information will be given in due course.”
