Seven vehicles were involved in a collision on the A1307 at Swavesey early this morning (Wednesday January 10).
Police were called to the crash on the westbound carriageway at 6.55am.
It is believed there are no serious injuries to any of the occupants of the vehicles.
The westbound carriageway has been closed between Swavesey and Fenstanton and is likely to remain closed for several hours while recovery takes place and the road is gritted.
Reports of a separate three-vehicle collision on the eastbound carriageway came in just after 8am, however the road has now been cleared.
Due to the weather conditions and icy road surfaces across the county, police are advising motorists to take extra care and drive to the conditions.
