A man is in a critical condition following a collision involving a car and two pedestrians.
The crash, which happened in Cambridge, involved a black Volkswagen Up and two pedestrians.
It happened in Huntingdon Road, close to the junction with Storey's Way, at about 9am yesterday (January 4).
Emergency services attended the scene and the road was closed.
One of the pedestrians, a man in his 40s, was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, in Cambridge, with serious injuries and remains there in a critical condition.
The second pedestrian, a woman in her 50s, suffered minor injuries and received treatment at the same hospital.
The driver, a 62-year-old woman from Cambridge, was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by careless or inconsiderate driving. She has been released on bail until April 4.
