Two people arrested as part of the police’s wider investigation into the murders of Gary Dunmore and his son Josh and have been re-bailed.

A 33-year-old woman and a 28-year-old man, both from Mildenhall, Suffolk, were arrested last year on suspicion of conspiracy to murder.

They were previously on bail until December 7, 2023 – but Cambridgeshire Police confirmed both have now been re-bailed until March 7 this year.

In June, a 51-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman, both from Bristol, were also arrested on suspicion of encouraging or assisting crime and were released under investigation.

Widower Stephen Alderton, 67, was sentenced to life in prison with a minimum term of 25 years for shooting dead his daughter’s ex-partner and her ex-partner's father.
