The operators of The Market Inn pub in Huntingdon have been awarded Best Safety Pub of the Year at the national Craft Union Pub Company Operator Awards 2023.
Now in their eighth year, the awards recognise the incredible work carried out by Craft Union operators and highlight their dedication and devotion to putting their pubs at the heart of their local communities.
The best of the best were shortlisted into a range of categories, from sales and growth to sports performance, with the awards focusing across all areas of the business.
Christina McKay and John Curran excelled in their attention to detail and commitment to compliance and safety within The Market Inn.
With consistent 100 per cent scores on their safety records the diligence shown is an excellent example of ensuring a safe environment for their customers and team.
Speaking of their award, Christina said: “It was fantastic to be recognised for the attention we pay to making sure our business remains as safe as it can possibly be for our customers and team.
“Winning this award was such an honour.”
