A school in St Neots is holding its annual Christmas fayre tomorrow (Wednesday November 29).

Taking place at Priory Park Infants School, from 4-6.30pm, the event will raise funds for the school.

Emma-Jane Page, co-chair of the Priory Infants and Playgroup PTA, said: "We've worked really hard to get everything ready for this year's Christmas fayre and it will be the perfect way to kick off the festive season.

"Whoever you are buying for, there will be plenty of opportunities to pick up gifts from local businesses and lots of fun entertainment and crafts for children and adults.

"We hope to see as many people as possible supporting the school and playgroup on the night."

Rebecca Goodman, also of the PTA, said: "It's a great opportunity to shop local and get all your Christmas shopping done in one place, as we have 15 local businesses selling their goods, from candle melts and Nanny knits to art prints and table top burners.

"There will also be lots of children's crafts including biscuit decorating and craft making, along with an 'Elfridges' store, where children can pick a present for a family member or friend and wrap it up for the special day.

"There are also singers from Stageworks Studio, plenty of mince pies and brownies, and festive drinks.

"We're also having parents and grandparents reading Christmas stories in a festive igloo donated for the night from Hawks Event Hire.

"Everything you need to get into the festive spirit, tickets are £2 on the door (and include a free glass of mulled wine).
