The cause of a car fire on the A14 near Hilton on Sunday afternoon (November 19) has been confirmed.
Crews from Cambridge and Huntingdon were called to the fire at 3:17pm.
A spokesperson for Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “Firefighters arrived to find a car well alight on the Westbound carriageway.
“Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters used hose reels to extinguish the fire before returning to their stations by 5.20pm.
“The cause of the fire was accidental.”
