There are several fireworks displays taking place across Cambridgeshire this year to mark Guy Fawkes night, so here is a list of some of the best locations and dates for 2023. 

  • Fireworks at Eynesbury Rovers (November 5) 

With a BBQ, bar, a kids funfair, a tea bar and a raffle, Eynesbury Rovers’ annual fireworks night returns for 2023. 

Tickets cost £6 for adults, £3 for concessions and a family ticket (two adults and two children) is £12. Tickets are available on the gate and cash and cards are accepted.

Gates open and 5pm with the display starting at 6:30pm.  

  • Ely Fireworks (November 4) 

Ely Fireworks will take place at Cherry Hill Park. The lighting of the bonfire is at 6.30pm and the fireworks start at 7pm. 

Advance tickets, in the form of wristbands, priced at £8 for adults, £4 for children, and £20 for a family ticket (two adults and two children) (under-fives are free) are available from:

Please note that payment at Ely Tourist Information Centre Hive Leisure Centre and Ely Fudge will be by card only, and by cash only at the other named outlets. 

  • Littleport Grange Fireworks Spectacular (November 5) 

Set to be a fantastic display, all proceeds from the night fo to the residents at Littleport Grange. 

Gates open at 5:30pm, no entry after 6:30pm, display starts at 6:45pm. 

£5 entry for adults and £1 for children. Entry is available on the night. 

Food and drink will be available. 

Tickets are available from Littleport Grange, Millfield Primary and Littleport Community Primary.

  • Fireworks in Hemingford (November 4) 

One of Cambridgeshire’s largest bonfire night events is back on Saturday, November 4. The spectacular display is perfectly synchronised to music by the award-winning Cambridge fireworks. 

Organised by volunteers and community groups giving hundreds of hours every year. 

There will be licenced bars, food and drink, a live DJ and a funfair on the night. 

  • Kimbolton Castle Fireworks 2023 (November 3) 

Back with a bang for 2023, Kimbolton Castle’s award-winning open air fireworks spectacular is ready to impress. 

The car park opens at 5:30pm, gates open at 5:45pm and fireworks are at 8pm. 

There is limited availablity with advance tickets only. 

The music stage is being sponsored this year by Beacon Wealth Group. 

  • Fireworks in Cambridge – Illumia Fireworks (November 4) 

Mark your calendars, lllumina Fireworks Night is back! 

This beloved event, organised by Cambridge City Council and one of the largest FREE displays in the region, will take place on Midsummer Common on Saturday 4 November, sponsored once again this year by Illumina. 

Regarded as the safest and best way to enjoy Fireworks night, the event is one of the city’s longest running and best-loved traditions, when thousands fill Midsummer Common to watch as the night sky is transformed into a kaleidoscope of colour. 

Although Entry is FREE organisers do respectfully ask for donations to help with the costs of running the event.

  • Wilburton Recreation Ground Fireworks – November 11 

Gates open at 5pm with the fireworks at 7pm. 

You can purchase tickets from Wilburton Social Club (cash payments in advance) and www.wilburtonparishcouncil.org. 

Adults are £6 in advance, £8 on gate, children are £3 in advance, £5 on the gate and a family ticket is £15 in advance, £20 on the gate (two adults and two children).

  • Burwell Fireworks Display – November 4 

Gates open at Burwell Cricket Club at 5pm and the fireworks are at 7pm. 

Entry is £5 per person, and there will be bars and food stalls. 

  • Grafham Fireworks Display – November 4 

Gates open at Grafham Village Hall at 5pm with the fireworks at 6:30pm. 

Adults are £5 each and children (aged five to 16) are £3. Under five’s are free. Cash only. 

  • March Fireworks Display – October 28 

Taking place at March Town Cricket Club, gates open at 5:30pm with the fireworks at 7pm.

  • Ramsey Forty Foot Fireworks – November 5 

At Ramsey Forty Foot Park, gates open at 5:30pm with fireworks at 6pm. Free entry but donations are welcome.

  • Godmanchester Fireworks Display – November 5

  • St Ives and Hemingford Fireworks Display – November 4 

At The Big Field Site on London Road, gates open at 5pm with the fireworks at 6:45pm.

  • Alconbury Fireworks – November 3 

Gates open at Alconbury Sports and Social Club at 6pm, with fireworks at 7pm.

  • Peterborough Fireworks – November 5 

At Peterborough Lions Rugby Club. It’s 14th annual firework display.  A magnificent display of pyrotechnics, BBQ, funfair and fully licensed bar with a range of real ales.

  • Smoke & Mirrors Bonfire Night – Peterborough – November 4 and 5 

Bonfires, refreshments, live music, fire performances, and a fast, furious and funny show about the Gunpowder Plot from local favourite Lamphouse Theatre, will make for a wonderful evening for the family. 

Smoke & Mirrors will take place at Paston Farm Community Centre on Saturday November 4 from 5pm to 8.30pm, and Westraven Community Garden on Sunday November 5, from 4pm to 7.30pm.
