Huntingdon Town Council has announced its plans for this year' Remembrance observances.
On Sunday, November 12, council representatives and members of RAF Wyton will join with residents and visitors to honour the memory and sacrifice of the armed forces and their families from Britain and the Commonwealth.
This includes acknowledgement of the vital role played by the emergency services and those who have lost their lives as the result of conflict or terrorism.
The main Remembrance service will take place on the Market Square.
RAF Wyton will parade into the Market Square from the Princes Street entrance.
The service will be led by the mayor’s chaplain, the Rev Jon Randall, and RAF Wyton’s station chaplain, the Rev Jesse Holland, and this will be followed by a wreath-laying at the Thinking Soldier statue.
The parade will then march along the High Street and down St Mary’s Street.
Members of the public should assemble on the Market Square no later than 10.40am on the day when the parade will march into position.
