The cause of a van fire in Abbotsley yesterday morning (Sunday, October 22) has been confirmed. 

The South Roaming Fire Engine was called to a vehicle fire on Pitsdean Road at 9:39am. 

A spokesperson for Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue said: “Firefighters arrived to find a van on fire. The crew used a hose reel to extinguish the fire before returning to their station by 11.10am. 

“The cause of the fire is believed to be deliberate.”
