Arsonists set fire to a large pile of straw in Huntingdon yesterday evening (Wednesday, September 20).
A crew from Huntingdon was called to the fire on Brampton Road at 4:36pm.
A spokesperson for Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service said: Firefighters arrived to find a well-developed fire involving a large pile of straw.
“They extinguished the fire using a hose reel and returned to their station by 6.15pm.
“The cause of the fire was deliberate. Anyone with information should contact police by visiting www.cambs.police.uk to submit an online report or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.”
