Residents at The Manor Care Home in Brampton are enjoying a newly renovated garden space thanks to the team at Notcutts Brampton Garden Centre.

The project, guided by Notcutts Brampton's expert horticulturalists, now offers a welcoming environment for the residents and is designed to provide a serene and therapeutic space to relax, reflect and interact with nature.

The new garden features an array of vibrant plants and grasses donated and planted by the Notcutts team, as well as comfortable seating areas and sensory elements for residents to enjoy.

The project is part of an ongoing effort for Notcutts to give back to the community and make a positive impact on the lives of local people.

The rejuvenated garden was unveiled at the care home’s annual bank holiday barbecue event attended by the Mayor of Huntingdon, Cllr Phillip Pearce.

Speaking at the event, the mayor commended the Notcutts Brampton team for their dedication to enhancing the quality of life for the residents at The Manor.

The mayor praised Notcutts’ commitment to corporate social responsibility and expressed gratitude for their role in creating a valuable resource for the care home residents.

Garden Centre Manager at Notcutts Brampton, Joanne Hawkins-McDowell, said: "We are thrilled to have had the opportunity to collaborate with The Manor Care Home on this meaningful project.

“Our team is passionate about creating outdoor spaces that enrich lives and promote wellbeing. Seeing the smiles on the faces of the care home residents and receiving recognition from Mayor Phillip Pearce is truly heart-warming."

The event provided the opportunity for residents and attendees to enjoy the rejuvenated outdoor space.

The vibrant atmosphere was a reflection on the positive impact the garden will have on the wellbeing of the care home's residents and the greater community.
