It's not every day you come across a pony in your home – but that’s exactly what happened at a Huntingdonshire home.
And the gorgeous pony particularly hit it off with Montague House Care Home resident Marjorie Purdy.
The 95-year-old said: “Honeybee is a magnificent little pony, very gentle and friendly, it was a delight to have her visit – although not quite what I was expected while I was walking along the hallway!”
Marjorie is a former nurse and has always loved animals.
The cheeky pony was visiting the Brampton home with Anna Fermain, from London and Cambridge Pony Parties.
She is a strawberry roan Shetland X Dartmoor pony and is 18-years-old.
Well-being and lifestyle coach Gabrielle Butler said: “It was wonderful to have Honeybee here.
“She made everyone smile and got us all talking and laughing.
“Animals have such a calming presence, and we are very grateful to Anna for bringing Honeybee to visit.
“We do hope she can come again.”
