Drug dealer started throwing cash out of window.

Officers carried out a warrant at the home of Amar Hussain in Howitts Gardens, Eynesbury, in April 2020 after suspecting he was dealing drugs.

As they attempted to enter the property, Hussain, aged 28, ran upstairs with a rucksack, locked himself into the bathroom and began throwing cash out of the window.

PC Neal Bartley said: “Hussain has been dealing drugs in the area for many years bringing misery and violence to those living near him."

He persuaded a teenage girl to send him 'intimate' photos

A paedophile who “carefully groomed” a teenager and persuaded her to send him intimate photos and videos before having sex with her has been jailed for more than five years.

Duncan Campbell, of Norwood Road, Somersham, first came to the attention of police when they received a call in September 2020 to say messages had been found on his phone.

Campbell, 38, was arrested and his phone was seized, together with a computer from his home.

Order means man is banned from town centre

 

A man has been banned from entering Huntingdon town and green spaces following his anti-social behaviour.

Filip Stula, 38, of no fixed address, was given the five-year Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO) at Cambridge Crown Court.

The CBO states he must not enter Huntingdon except for prearranged appointments with a professional agency.

Drunk driver smashed into car and killed man

 

A drink-driver who smashed into the side of a car at 100mph, instantly killing a man, has been jailed for 12 years. 

Asadul Karim, was almost three times the legal drink-drive limit when he lost control of his vehicle at the Spittals Interchange roundabout, near Huntingdon.

The 31-year-old was also found to be disqualified from driving and had no insurance.
