Cambridgeshire police is urging the person who handed in a watch owned by a woman who was assaulted at a Huntingdonshire nature reserve to get in touch.
Officers were called to Paxton Pits, Little Paxton, near St Neots, at about 7.40am on Thursday, June 29, after the woman was found unconscious by dog walkers.
The victim, a woman in her fifties from Little Paxton, was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, in Cambridge while the dog was found unharmed a short distance away.

The woman's watch has since been handed into the visitor centre at Paxton Pits, at about 2.30pm on Saturday July 1.
"We are appealing for the person who did this to get in touch as they could have vital information which could help their inquiries," said police.
"Anyone with information should report it through the force website using reference 35/48387/23. Anyone without internet access should call 101.
