Police advice

A spokesperson for Cambridgeshire Police said: "Even 'just one drink' could put you over the legal limit - alcohol affects everyone differently, and any amount can impair your reaction time and ability to drive.

"Trust us when we say it's really not worth the risk - and believe us when we say we can't be everywhere, but we could be anywhere."

Police are encouraging people to help them make Cambridgeshire's roads safer by reporting drink or drug driving on their confidential hotline (available 24/7): 0800 032 0845.
