There was a fantastic turn-out for this year's traditional May Day celebrations in Eaton Socon on Bank Holiday Monday.

Despite a couple of downpours, the choir sang, the dancers danced and the May Queen and her princesses were crowned.

This year's May Queen was Emmie Durrant, aged 10, and her Princesses were Lucy Davies, aged 10 and Alannah Montieth, aged nine. Emmie recieved her crown from the out-going May Queen Chloe Veneear who held the title for three years.

The event is organised by ESCA who's chairman Julia Hayward said the event was "fantatic" and numbers were now almost back to pre-covid levels.
