Three people arrested in connection with the shootings in Sutton and Bluntisham on Wednesday evening (March 29) remain in custody today. 

Police officers were called to properties in Meridian Close, Bluntisham, and then The Row, Sutton, on Wednesday (March 29) with reports of gunshots.

Three people - a 27-year-old man, 66-year-old man and 33-year-old woman - were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder.

Cambridgeshire Police have said that formal identification of the victims has not yet been completed, so they are not in a position to release further information about them. 

The victims have been named locally as father and son Josh Dunmore, 32, and Gary Dunmore, 57.

Officers say they are also following a line of inquiry that the attacks followed a family dispute over a custody battle.

A Cambridgeshire Police spokesperson said: “Post-mortem examinations are due to be carried out by Dr Ben Swift at Peterborough City Hospital on Monday (April 3)."
